Sarah is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She began her career in community mental health, working as a psychotherapist at Airport Marina Counseling Services. In her role as a school-based therapist at the Help Group she specialized in working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other social-emotional challenges.
Sarah has extensive experience providing individual and group psychotherapy to adults, families and children. She is trained in cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, evidenced based social skills interventions and is a certified PEERS provider. Using a relationship-based, developmental approach with her clients that incorporates elements of behavior modification, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Mindfulness, Sarah helps her clients devise successful ways to achieve their goals and cope more adaptively with everyday challenges.
