Meet Sheila, a dedicated therapist with a passion for creating personalized, empathetic, and non-judgmental spaces for her clients. Sheila works under the direct supervision of seasoned professionals, Dalia Frank, LMFT, and Neda Safvati, Psy.D.
Sheila obtained her bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University in 2019 and continued her education at Golden Gate University in San Francisco, graduating in 2023 with a focus on psychological counseling. Sheila's journey into therapy began during an internship at San Jose State University, where she served as a school-based counselor for a truancy and abatement program. This experience ignited her passion for helping others, propelling her into a career dedicated to making a positive impact.
Throughout her graduate studies, Sheila honed her skills by interning at a non-public school, offering therapy to students facing emotional challenges and intellectual disabilities. This diverse experience broadened her expertise, allowing her to work with clients dealing with Depression, Anxiety, Autism, and Grief.
Sheila's therapeutic approach is tailored to her clients' unique needs. In her sessions, she employs a variety of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, narrative therapy, play therapy, and solution-focused therapy. This flexibility allows her to cater to each client's preferences and goals. Sheila prioritizes creating a safe and supportive environment for her clients to freely express themselves. Her sessions are characterized by empathy, understanding, and a genuine commitment to her clients' well-being.
